Our farm shop is looking for an outgoing friendly individual to work as part of our shop floor team. Duties will include among other things replenishing stock, stock rotation, date checking, assisting customers on the shop floor and serving customers on the till.
Our farm shop is looking for a Fishmonger to join our award-winning fish counter team. Previous experience in a fishmonger’s or a similar role is essential. This is a physically demanding position that requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Our farm shop is looking for a passionate, creative and commercially minded individual to join our Visual Merchandising team. Using your artistic flair and attention to detail, you will help create attractive, engaging displays throughout the shop, showcasing key products, promotions and seasonal events to a consistently high standard.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Fryer to join our Fish & Chip shop team in preparing delicious food in our Fish & Chip shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and ensuring high-quality food preparation. Duties will include assisting in preparation and frying, ensuring food safety, quality and compliance, working collaboratively with other departments and serving customers as required. The Greendale Group works together with local colleges to offer apprenticeship schemes at its businesses. Previously these have included an Engineering Operative (Fabrication) Apprenticeship, a Sea Fisher Apprenticeship with Waterdance Fishing, a Butchery Apprenticeship at Greendale Farm Shop and a Finance Apprenticeship at the Group’s head office. We also participate in Work Experience schemes run by nearby schools and Sixth Form colleges, providing students with work placements at various Greendale sites, typically for one week.
From my week’s work experience with Greendale, I have taken away many new skills such as website management, keyword research and content creation. This has given me a greater understanding of Marketing alongside expanding my ability to work with other team members to support their roles and deliver Marketing across the group. It has also given me an insight into areas of Marketing that I may want to specialise in when looking at the future.
