From its beginnings as a farming enterprise established by the Carter family more than 150 years ago, the Greendale Group now comprises a selection of diverse businesses with a successful offering that aims to meet the needs of today’s changing world. As well as its farming operations and popular Farm Shop, the Greendale Group has thirteen other lines of business: Waterdance Fishing; Waterdance Trading; Greendale Business Park; Greendale Storage; Greendale Haulage; Occombe Farm; Greendale Leisure; Exmouth Marina; The Exmouth Docks Co; Coastal Dredging, Opus Group; and Willowglen Renewables. Something of a local success story, this fifth-generation family business is built on entrepreneurship, a unique proposition and carefully-nurtured relationships with other local enterprises.

Every 12 months, Greendale Group’s Charitable Giving Committee selects charities to help, under our ‘Charitable Giving’ scheme. We then work with the chosen charities throughout the next year to provide support including – but not limited to – making donations, participating in fundraising activities, providing equipment or other support, and volunteering. Organisations eligible for the Greendale Group Charitable Giving scheme include charities, schools and relevant local community groups.
