Coastal Dredging owns and operates the Mannin, a grab-hopper dredger ideally suited to work in marinas, ports and harbours. With a draft of just two metres, the Mannin can access locations that may be unsuitable for larger vessels. For each project, Coastal Dredging’s contractor applies for the relevant Marine Management Organisation (MMO) operating licence, with sampling plans and disposal requirements determined on a case-by-case basis. Clients have included Exmouth Marina, Cornwall Council, Cormac, Padstow Harbour Commissioners and Thanet Council.
