On Thursday 17th September, we hosted our annual Golf Day at Woodbury Park, raising over £5000 for Children’s Hospice South West. 

The day brought together 21 teams of our suppliers, customers, partners, employees and guests to compete in a round of 18, creating a fantastic opportunity for a businesses and people to connect with each other and raise vital funds for an importance cause. 

The competing teams included Opus Plastics, Gater Conractors, Refedd, NFU, Hoskins Feed Milling, Greendale Farm Shop, ARA Architect, Tolchards, RLR Construction, EBCS Leisure, Greendale Property, Sun Energy, Brixham Trawler Agents, Greendale Finance, Waterdance, Greendale Construction, C&S Electrical, Occombe, Otterton Shoot, The Jacobs, Greendale Farm, and Willowglen Renewables. 

The day concluded with an evening celebration held at the Greg Norman Suite, with an evening meal and speech from Chairman of the board, Stephen Gratton, highlighting the Group’s achievements over the past year. 

The celebration ended with an award ceremony for the Golf Day winners, which saw Opus Plastics win the best team score award and Greendale Butcher, Andrew Bolton, win best individual score award.  

Thanks to the efforts of the day’s organisers Lesley Dickinson and Neil Edwards, alongside their team of volunteers and Children’s Hospice South West Area Fundraiser, Heneritta Olsson, the event was a complete success, raising over £5000 for the charity.

The incredible fundraising total was thanks to a combination of team fees, raffle ticket sales and hole sponsors, including Willowglen Renewables, Opus Plastics, Greendale Farm Shop, Sun Energy Group, Hunt’s Cider, Waterdance, NFU Mutual Exeter Tiverton and South Molton, Albert Goodman, Tolchards, Brixham Trawler Agents, C&S Electrical, Exmouth Marina, EBCS Leisure, Gater Contractors and Hoskins Feed Milling Engineers.
