On Saturday 15th August, we hosted our 3rd annual Greendale Love Local Food Festival at Exeter Castle which saw over 5,600 visitors.
Once again, the day gathered a whole host of brilliant local brands to celebrate their fantastic food & drink in the heart of Exeter.
Street food included pizza, Japanese street food, fresh pasta, meatballs, tapas and South Indian cuisine, alongside plenty of options to take home and enjoy when the festival was over – including cheeseboard essentials, pantry staples, cellar specials and delicious Devon preserves. To finish it off, there were all the sweet treats you can dream of, including ice cream, brownies, bakes, churros, bean to bar chocolate and cannoli.
Visitors also enjoyed a whole day of entertainment, with foodie talks and tasting all morning and an afternoon of live music by local artists and bands.
